What is Grounded Summit?

The Grounded Summit is a two-day event that connects critical changemakers with global climate solutions. By assembling hundreds of people with the ability to make a difference for our planet, Grounded provides the opportunity to connect and catalyze transformative change for a livable planet.

From March 19th through 20th, Grounded Summit features curated panels, thoughtful discussions, curated networking, unforgettable culinary experiences, experiential breaks, all with a shared focus on climate solutions in a beautiful vineyard setting.

How can I download the app?

The app will be released in the weeks leading up to the Grounded Summit. Ticket holders will be informed when the app is released. The app will then be downloadable from the iOS and Android app stores.

Are Grounded Summit tickets transferrable?

Please note that tickets are assigned to an individual at the time of purchase and are non-transferrable without written confirmation from Grounded Summit. If you wish to transfer a ticket to another name, please email us at contactus@grounded.org with the purchasing information associated with the ticket and the full name and contact information of the party you wish to assign the ticket to.

May I bring my pet to Grounded Summit?

Unfortunately, as much as we would love for your pet to join us, there are no pets permitted at the Grounded Summit. There are some great places around Santa Rosa that can handle your furry friends, and there are some Apps, like Rover, that will connect you with individuals who have flexible hours.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Grounded Summit will be offering attendees amazing culinary experiences and we will do our very best to accommodate as many dietary restrictions as we can. If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please send us a message at contactus@grounded.org .

What if I need accessible accommodations for Grounded Summit?

Travel
Where should I stay?

We are thrilled to partner with the Hyatt Regency in Santa Rosa, CA. (https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/california/hyatt-regency-sonoma-wine-country/sonom/rooms) A group code will be available soon. Please email us at contactus@grounded.org to ensure you receive the discount when it is available.

How do I get to Grounded Summit?

Grounded Summit takes place on a private property near Santa Rosa, California. The venue is accessible via an array of different modes of transportation:

Air
Santa Rosa is 68 miles north (~1h 30m) of two major Bay Area airports, San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland International (OAK). Major carriers including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines make getting to Santa Rosa easy and convenient by offering daily non-stop flights to and from the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS), which is around 15 minutes from our partner hotel.

Car
Car rentals, as well as car shares, are available at Sonoma County Airport as well as San Francisco International or Oakland International Airports. Other transportation options include:

  • Zipcar (various locations around Santa Rosa and Sonoma County), 866-4ZIPCAR
  • Hotel Shuttle: Shuttle service will be provided between Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country and Grounded Summit at regular intervals throughout the Summit.
What should I pack for Grounded Summit?

Grounded Summit happily encourages you to be you. We are sure there will be some wingtips, and some flip-flops, and everything in between.
