Smitha Nagrath is an integrated communications strategist specializing in global campaigns for leading healthcare, corporate and consumer brands. Bringing 8 years of marketing communications experience to her role as Account Manager at Porter Novelli, she is responsible for developing strategies with long-term impact which deliver meaningful results.
Smitha currently leads Johnson & Johnson’s Health Technology Communications workstream, developing strategies to showcase how the company is leveraging technology to improve the health of humanity. She is also the day-to-day lead for the National Women's Law Center and a high-profile climate initiative called One Earth. On all these accounts, she works to elevate the visibility of executives, offerings and partnerships through targeted media and event activations.
Smitha previously worked at WW (previously named Weight Watchers) as a PR and Social Media Manager, where she managed external affairs during a period of significant brand transformation. She also worked as a Senior Manager at Edelman Australia for over 4 years on numerous award-winning campaigns.
Smitha holds a Master’s degree in Health Communications from the University of Sydney, a world-leading university in the field of public health.
